- Venue and Hotel Information: Both the venue and the hotel for 6th ICFA Mini-Workshop on Space Charge 2024 is the Dongguan Exhibition International Hotel in downtown Dongguan.

All rooms have been reserved at the group rate for participants of the Mini-Workshop on Space Charge, and a discounted room rate of $73/night is available for all participants. Registration fees cover the breakfasts, lunches, refreshment breaks, welcome reception, banquet dinner and facility costs. All meetings will be held at the Exhibition International Hotel. The China Spallation Source is 30 km away from the Exhibition International Hotel, located at Dalang town of Dongguan city.
Transportation from Airport to Hotel and Venue
From Hong Kong International Airport
- High-Speed Train from Hong Kong
Take the airport express or a taxi from Hong Kong International Airport to Hong Kong West Kowloon Station. Then take the high-speed train from “HKwestkowloon (香港西九龙)“ to “Dongguannan (东莞南)” Station. For high-speed train ticket purchasing, please go to https://www.12306.cn/en/index.html.
After you arrive at the Dongguannan train station, you can also take a taxi from Dongguannan to the Dongguan Exhibition International Hotel(东莞会展国际大酒店), which takes 1 hour and roughly 100 CNY.

- Ferry Transfer
SkyPier at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) provides speedy ferry services for transfer passengers to Dongguan Humen Port. After you arrive at the Humen Port, you can call a taxi to the local hotel，This will charge you no more than CNY 80. For the latest ferry schedule and ticketing arrangement, please check with the ferry operators.
- Hong Kong bus or a Hong Kong commercial vehicle
Take a ride to the South Terminal of Dongguan Airport. The transportation method is as follows:
- (Hong Kong bus) Airport ticket counter: Turn left at Exit A in the lobby on Level 5 of Terminal 1 to reach Counter MO2, Bus inquiry hotline: 4006630118. (It will charge you about CNY 180)
- (Hong Kong commercial vehicle) Airport ticket counter: Counters A17-18 in Terminal 1 and Counter MO4, phone number 00852-22610296. Mainland duty phone number: 18925557036.(It will charge you about CNY 230)

After you arrive at the bus station, you can call a taxi to the local hotel. This will charge you no more than CNY 30. If you choose to take the subway, here is the way to do so:
From the South Terminal of Dongguan Airport, walk 130 meters to Exit B of Metro R2 Gedi Station (蛤地铁站), enter the subway and take Line 2 of the rail transit, ride for two stops, arrive at Hongfu Road Station (鸿福路站), and walk 800 meters to reach the Dongguan Exhibition International Hotel from Exit G4.
From the Shenzhen Baoan Airport
To purchase a bus ticket and board a bus to the South Terminal of Dongguan Airport at Shenzhen Airport Station, the ticketing and boarding location is next to Gate 17 at the Ground Transportation Center. It charges you about CNY 50.

From the Guangzhou Baiyun Airport
You can purchase bus tickets (it charges you about CNY 76) to the South Terminal of Dongguan Airport at the following locations:
- West Bus Station at the Transportation Center of Terminal 2. (T2航站楼交通中心西客运站)
- Terminal 1, Zone A (T1航站楼A区): Tickets can be purchased at Self-service Ticket Machines A4/A10, no manned counters available (Boarding point outside Gates A3-A5).
- Terminal 1, Zone B (T1航站楼B区): Tickets can be purchased at Counters B5/B13 inside Gates (Boarding point outside Gates B10-B13).

It is recommended that attendees take a taxi directly from the Airports to the Hotel. Taking taxi from Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport to the hotel charges you about CNY 200. Taking taxi from Baiyun International Airport to the hotel charges you about CNY 300. (a reminder : Please use cash, WechatPay or AliPay). Please display ‘东莞会展国际酒店’ to your taxi driver to show the intended destination. Please also show the driver "请帮我开发票，谢谢" to let the driver know that you would like to have a receipt for taxi.
