微结构气体探测器以其高空间分辨率、高计数率和出色的抗辐照能力,在天文观测技术需求推动下,在空间探测领域得到了应用。穿越辐射探测器(TRD)采用辐射体与THGEM探测器共腔设计,显著提升了对穿越辐射信号的测量精度,将实现对1-10TeV能区宇宙线质子绝对能量的精确测量。气体微通道板像素探测器(GMPD)创新性地使用阻性GMCP作为气体电子增益器,消除了电荷累积问题,并与电荷敏感的Topmetal像素芯片结合,实现了对X射线偏振的高灵敏度测量。基于GMPD,采用大面积拼接、宽视场的设计方案的低能偏振探测器(LPD),可以对GRB等暂现源的X射线偏振进行巡天观测。TRD和GMPD均采用闭气式、紧凑型设计,无需额外携带气体,有效解决了气体探测器长期在轨工作的寿命问题。
