Description

Due to the big size of the magnet. The coil has a big  deformation quantity when cooling to 5K. This causes big stress on the NbTi superconducting wire because of the difference linear expansion coefficient. So we need to control the stress.

        目前的线圈结构,线圈冷却到5K时,径向半径变形量大约为14mm,轴向变形量单边20mm,由于铌钛超导线(铜超比1:1)和铝稳定体的热收缩系数差别较大,冷却时铝稳定体收缩量大,超导线收缩量小,造成超导线上的应力达到了250MPa,达到了NbTi超导线的极限值,因此需要控制冷却时的应力大小。

        经过讨论,决定尝试给线圈增加304不锈钢的内骨架,由于不锈钢的收缩系数比铝稳定体要小很多,所以不锈钢骨架能否减小铝稳定体的冷收缩量,降低超导线上的应力。王梦琳在现有的模型基础上进行有限元模拟。
