Located at the foot of Yanshan Mountain, 8 km north of downtown Huirou in a northern suburb of Beijing City, Yanqi Lake borders the majestic Ten-Thousand-Mile Great Wall to the north and lies near the boundless North China Plain to the south. It is an aquatic park with picturesque landscapes.

Mutianyu Great Wall is located in Huairou District of Beijing City, and historical documents show that such a section of Great Wall was built by Xu Dadu, a senior general of Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang of the Early Ming Dynasty, on the basis of Beiqi Great Wall’s ruins. In 2001, Mutianyu Great Wall successfully passed ISO9002 International Quality Management System and ISO14001 International Environmental Management System certifications. Also, it was rated as “Class AAAAA Tourist Area” by the China National Tourism Administration. Surrounded by mountains, Mutianyu Great Wall Tourist boasts picturesque landscapes.



Located four kilometers north of downtown Huairou, Hongluo Mountain and the Hongluo Temple Scenic Spot is 55 kilometers away from downtown Beijing. With a total area of 800 hectares, the Hongluo Temple Scenic Spot now is a “National Class AAAA Scenic Spot.

Located in the Ancient Great Wall pass of Huaibei Township, in the Huairou District of Beijing, 75km away from Sanyuan Bridge of Beijing, Qinglong Gorge is a national class-AAAA scenic spot and national water conservancy scenic spot that brings together green mountains, clean waters, and the ancient Great Wall. With an area of 150 hectares, Qinglong Gorge extends for more than 10 miles from north to south, and the majestic reservoir dam separates Qinglong Gorge into two parts. 

Located in Jiuduhe Township of Huairou District, Beijing, Huanghuacheng Lakeside Great Wall Tourist Area gets its name because there are three sections of Great Wall underneath the water’s surface, and it is Beijing’s only location where the Great Wall connects with the water. The tourist area is 70 km away from downtown Beijing and 35 km away from downtown Huairou, and it is famous for its unusual landscapes and is characterized by its picturesque scenery.
