Holographic applicationsfrom Quantum Realms to the Big Bang

Sponsored by the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Theoretical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Center of Advanced Science and Technology, and National Natural Science Foundation of China, the "Holographic Applications: From Quantum Realms to the Big Bang International Conference" will be held from July 11 to 19, 2025, at the International Conference Center of the Yanqi Lake Campus, University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Check-in will be on July 11 (Friday) and departure will be on July 19.

The conference will focus on discussions regarding the applications of AdS/CFT in condensed matter physics, strongly interacting systems and cosmology. Experts and scholars in related fields are warmly invited to participate and share your recent progress in this field. For the detailed schedule, please refer to:

Important Notes for Participants:

  1. Registration Time, Venue, and Accommodation:
    • Time: All day on July 11, 2025.
    • Venue and Accommodation: International Conference Center, West Campus, Yanqi Lake Campus, University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, No. 1 Yanqi Lake East Road, Huairou District, Beijing.
  2. Conference Fees:
    • Registration fees will be collected on-site at the International Conference Center of the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
      • RMB 2000 per person (for employed participants including Posdocs).
      • RMB 1500 per person (for graduate students).
    • Participants can pay both the accommodation and registration fees at the hotel reception during check-in (separate invoices will be issued for accommodation and conference fees).
    • Meals will be arranged by the conference, but transportation and accommodation costs are to be borne by the participants.
  3. Transportation Options: (No pick-up service is provided; participants are required to arrange their own travel.)
    • From Beijing South Railway Station:
      • Take a taxi (approximately 2 hours to the hotel).
      • Alternatively, take Metro Line 4 to Xizhimen Station, transfer to Line 13 to Qinghe Station, then transfer to the Huairou-Miyun Line S523 to Huairou North Station, and cycle about 1.2 km to the hotel (total travel time approximately 3 hours).
    • From Beijing Railway Station:
      • Take a taxi (approximately 1.5 hours to the hotel).
      • Alternatively, take Metro Line 2 to Xizhimen Station, transfer to Line 13 to Qinghe Station, then transfer to the Huairou-Miyun Line S523 to Huairou North Station, and cycle about 1.2 km to the hotel (total travel time approximately 3 hours).
    • From Beijing West Railway Station:
      • Take a taxi (approximately 2 hours to the hotel).
      • Alternatively, take Metro Line 9 to the National Library Station, transfer to Line 4 to Xizhimen Station, transfer to Line 13 to Qinghe Station, then transfer to the Huairou-Miyun Line S523 to Huairou North Station, and cycle about 1.2 km to the hotel (total travel time approximately 3 hours).
    • From Beijing Capital International Airport:
      • Option 1: Take a taxi (approximately 1.5 hours to the hotel, there will be students to help with hailing a taxi.).
      • Option 2: From Terminal 2, take Airport Bus Line 4 (toward Gongzhufen) to Xibahe Station, transfer to Express Bus 916 (toward Huairou Bus Station) to Huairou District Hospital, and at the same station transfer to Bus H58 (toward Qinglong Gorge) to Huaibeizhuang Bus Stop, then walk about 200 meters to the venue (total travel time approximately 3 hours).
      • Option 3: From Terminal 3, take Konggang Bus Line 13 (toward Hualikan Station) to Malian Bus Stop, transfer to Express Bus 916 (toward Huairou Bus Station) to Huairou District Hospital, and at the same station transfer to Bus H58 (toward Qinglong Gorge) to Huaibeizhuang Bus Stop, then walk about 200 meters to the venue (total travel time approximately 3.5 hours).
    • From Beijing Daxing International Airport:
      • Option 1: Take a taxi (approximately 2.5 hours to the hotel, there will be students to help with hailing a taxi.).
      • Option 2: Take the Beijing Daxing International Airport Line (toward Caoqiao) to Caoqiao Station, exit and purchase a new ticket, transfer to Metro Line 19 (toward Mudanyuan) to Beitaipingzhuang Station, transfer within the station to Line 12 to Jimenqiao Station, transfer within the station to the Changping Line to Qinghe Station, transfer to the Huairou-Miyun Line S523 to Huairou North Station, and cycle about 1.2 km to the hotel (total travel time approximately 3.5 hours).
