The International Conference on Symmetry Breaking Phenomena in Quantum Field Theory aims to bring together leading researchers, scholars, and students to discuss recent advancements, challenges, and future directions in the study of symmetry breaking within quantum field theory and related areas. Topics will span spontaneous symmetry breaking, topological defects, effective field theories, phase transitions, and connections to condensed matter and particle physics.
As part of the conference program, a Memorial Session in Honor of Prof. Vladimir Miransky will be held on May 17, 2026
Conference Topics Include (but are not limited to):
-
Spontaneous Symmetry Breaking and the Nambu–Goldstone Mechanism
-
Chiral Symmetry and Center Symmetry Breaking in Quantum Chromodynamics
-
Electroweak Symmetry Breaking and Higgs Physics
-
Topological Defects, Solitons, and Symmetry Breaking
