Description
The Circular Electron Positron Collider (CEPC) is a next-generation electron positron collider for precision studies of Higgs, flavor physics and beyond. The silicon Inner Tracker (ITk) is a key component of the whole tracking system. COFFEE/ChiR MAPS(monolithic active pixel sensor) chips fabricated with 55nm HV-CMOS process is aimed for the CEPC ITk requirements, like a few-micrometer spatial resolution and a few-nanosecond timing resolution, with a moderate power consumption.
We will introduce the design of the CEPC ITk detector. The current testing results from laser, radiation source, and test-beam of the COFFEE3 chips will be presented. The design of the new HVCMOS chip, CHiR, and some preliminary results will be reported. Furthermore, module design will also be discussed.
