Wi-Fi is available for all participants on IHEP Huairou Campus. Please follow the instructions carefully to ensure a smooth connection.
You can use eduroam with your username and password.
You can also register the IHEP network with Conference Code "MTCA2026".
- Go to the list of available wireless networks and select “IHEP”.
- You must turn off the private / random WiFi / MAC address function in the network settings, especially for iPhone.
- - iPhone and Macbook: turn off the “Private Wi-Fi Address”（关闭“私有无限局域网地址”）in the "IHEP" network setting.
- - Android (may not need this setting): select “Use device MAC” in the “Privacy” setting in the “IHEP” Network Details（隐私中选择“设备Mac”).
- - Windows: turn off “random hardware address” (default off) in the WLAN settings.
- Open the website https://network.ihep.ac.cn (usually automatic).
- Select "Network Registration (new device access network)"
- Select "4、有会议代码 (Meeting code)". The code is "MTCA2026".
- If the MAC Address is not auto filled in during the registration process, you need to fill in it by hand.
- After the registration or submission is successful, you need to disconnect the wireless connection and connect to the SSID again to obtain authorization.
- You will be able to access the wireless network after the registration succeeds.
