Description

Abstract:
Higgs pair production probes the Higgs self-coupling and, therefore, the shapeof the Higgs potential. In this talk, I review the Standard Model mechanism andthe current experimental status for Higgs pair production. The cross-section ofthe process vanishes at the threshold in the Standard Model. Hence, it is verysensitive to any modification. Such an example is given for a non-perturbativeHiggs potential. The primary source of the modification are the non-canonickinetic term and the Higgs coupling to vector bosons.
