The workshop on Super tau-charm factory will take place in the campus of University of Science and Technology, China (USTC Hefei, Anhui), organized by the collaborative innovation center for elementary particle and interations and physics school of USTC.
An electron-positron collider operating at the the energy of tau/charm production threshold, with a luminosity of 1035-1036 cm-2s-1, possibly with the polarized electron beam will be discussed. The two-day workshop will be dedicated to the physics goals, the detector conceptional design, and technical challenges of a high luminosity tau/charm factory, as well as the discussion on the possible new development and issues of the accelerator design.
