The workshop on Super tau-charm factory will take place in the campus of ITP in Beijing, organized by the collaborative innovation center for elementary particles and interations and the Institute of Theoretical Physics.
An electron-positron collider operating at the the energy of tau/charm production threshold, with a luminosity of 1035-1036 cm-2s-1, possibly with the polarized electron beam will be discussed. The workshop will be dedicated to the preparation of the CDR, including the physics goals, the detector conceptional design, and technical challenges of a high luminosity tau/charm factory, as well as the discussion on the possible new development and issues of the accelerator design.
Dates
The workshop will start in the morning of Wednesday, February 13th, 2014, and end in the late afternoon. Participants are expected to arrive on Tuesday, Feb. 18. It is noticed that the BESIII physics and software workshop in Beihang University will take place on Feb. 20-23, 2014.
