Invitation Letters
All the letters of invitation are only provided to attendees who are planning to participate and attend the mini-workshop. Please email to huangwei@ihep.ac.cn for a letter of invitation.
You will need to provide the following information in your request:
Your full name (Family name and given name)
Gender title (Professor, Dr., Mr., Mrs, etc.)
Organization
Full mailing address
For Visa Letters:
Most foreign visitors need visas to enter China. A tourist visa is the easiest type to apply for, visitors are kindly recommended to get a tourist visa by themselves. If you do need a visiting visa ( F visa ) , please send the following information to the secretary in IHEP (mailto: huangwei@ihep.ac.cn ), who will provide you the invitation letter and visa letter supporting your visa application(It will take about 10 days to get a visa application letter after we receive your information).
• Name on the passport
• Passport number and expiration date
• Gender
• Citizenship
• Date of birth
• Profession and title
• Stay Period
• Name and address of your institution/university
• Which Chinese Embassy you plan to get your visa(s) (name of the city and country)
• Have you ever visited China with a F visa: Yes or No? (Please send the scanned copy of your F visa page to inviter. There is a new rule for visa letter application at CAS, the visitor who have visited China with a F-visa could apply for a multi-entry F visa letter, or only the application for one-entry visa letter could be issued or by CAS. )
The time of visa application depends on the type of visa you apply for. Please consult any Chinese consulate nearby for more detailed information.
IHEP does not provide health insurance. If you need such services, please check with the travel agency in your country.
