Description

Gauge boson pair production is the main background for Higgs search, and it is also useful for testing the EW gauge structure of the SM by looking for deviations induced by aTGCs and aQGCs. In this talk, we discussed the transverse momentum resummation and jet-veto resummation effects for gauge boson pair production at the LHC, and attempt to improve the experimental result. We proof that the resummation effects can explain the discrepancy between the experimental data and theoretical QCD NLO prediction.
