Description
The COMET experiment aims to search for muon to electron conversion. Muons are produced by pion decays. The pions are generated by proton bombardments on a target, captured in a 5 T solenoid magnet. In the talk, the status of the COMET experiment will be introduced. In particular, the design and analysis of the superconducting solenoid magnet will be discussed.
