Abstract: Since the discovery of open charm hadrons, they have been an ideal lab to explore the electroweak and strong interactions. Up to now, the BESIII experiment has collected the world largest threshold open charm data samples of D0(+), Ds+ and Lambda_c+. Based on these samples, many important results have been achieved with much improved precision or for the first time. The precisely determined form factors of semileptonic decays, CKM matrix elements |Vcs(d)|, D(s) decay constants are important to calibrate the LQCD calculations and to test the unitarity of the CKM matrix. The parameter of CP violation and strong phase that help to determine the CKM angle of gamma/phi3 have been determined with the advantage of the quantum correlated production of D0D0bar pairs in psi(3770) decays. Overall measurements of the absolute branching fractions of Lambda_c+ decays with much improved precision have been a milestone in the Lambda_c+ field. Some other interesting results will also be covered in this talk.
