Description
Abstract:
PRAE project is proposed by several research laboratories at Orsay center
to perform radiobiological studies of the innovative radiotherapy techniques,
to construct an experiment for precision measurement of the proton charge radius
and other applications including accelerator and detector R&D.
It is based on very high quality electron beam with energy of up to 140 MeV
and is entering its construction phase now.
Speaker: Dr. Sergey BARSUK (LAL, Orsay, France).
Dr. Sergey Barsuk got his PhD from ITEP, Moscow in 1997. He got a permanent position of CNRS (CR1) in 2006, and was prompted as Director Researcher (DR2) in 2016. He is the project coordinator of the PRAE project (IMNC – IPNO – LAL) since 2015, and is the team leader of the instrumentation group of LAL since 2017.
