Description
At ICHEP2018 conference, ATLAS presented its first observations of same-sign WW and WZ vector boson scattering processes, the latter of which was considered as the 1st observation of such process at LHC, leading to a collaboration wide highlight at the ICHEP2018 conference. It is a very important milestone to probe the SM-EWK symmetry breaking and Higgs unitarization mechanism in the VBS processes. The summary is written by the collaboration as physics briefing:
