1. Introductory remarks from Joao
1) Schedule for September:
    ⁃    We submitted the CDR version 2 for review by international committee on Sep. 1st.
    ⁃    The authorship is still collected, feel free to provide this link to colleagues for reviews and consideration of authorship
    ⁃    Monday, Sept. 10: Rehearsal talks for IRC meeting (full day meeting)
    ⁃    Tuesday, Sept. 11: Print copies for review committee visit at IHEP. Any updated material we want to introduce should be there by Monday. Please fix typos and obvious mistakes. New material should be vetted before being included.
    ⁃    Thu-Sat, Sept. 13-15: International Review Committee Meeting. Get preliminary recommendations from committee
    ⁃    Fri, Sept. 21: Publish CDR on the CEPC website

2) International Review Agenda
All the talks should be short, leaving more time for discussion and questions.

    ⁃    Experimental Condition will have two talks, PFA concept from Manqi and IDEA concept from Franco
    ⁃    Silicon: Meng Wang will give the talk
    ⁃    TPC: Huirong will give talk and he will check whether Deng Zhi can come here
    ⁃    Full silicon: Chengdong give talk and Weimin help to prepare the slides
    ⁃    ECAL: Jianbei can give talk, but he is only available on Friday
    ⁃    Magnet: Wei Zhao will give talk
    ⁃    Muon: may has 2 talks, baseline and mu-well. Joao will disscuss with Liang and Paolo
    ⁃    DAQ: All the detector people should help with this talk. Fei Li will give a short talk with 10 min.
    ⁃    MDI: may has two talks: MDI background and luminosity. Joao will check with Suen wether he will come
    ⁃    Performance: The choice of speaker will be discussed offline
    ⁃    physics: One possibility is Jianming give Higgs talk and Zhijun give EWK talk. But it needs more discussion

3) Major Outstanding issues towards Draft Version 3.0
    ⁃    ECAL: Calorimeter optimization needs to be updated — Jianbei

  • For figure 10.9, Jianbei suggested that we firstly use the uniformed plot, and set the energy resolution un-uniformed, then compare the difference. If the difference is not significant, we can further optimize the thickness arrangement to get the un-uniformed plot, so we can have a better understanding of the low energy photon performance.
  • Joao agree with it, but they need to discuss with Manqi about the new plot he made, since the resolution is worse in new plot and thickness is changed
  • figure 10.9 (b) is updated in git, but is not shown in submitted version 2. Jianbei will check the new plots and bring up a solution soon

    ⁃    Silicon Tracker : Add details on the current layout (strip type, angles, etc)

  • add 1-2 sentense, since the full silicon has more details about the layout, but the basline doesn't have details.
