Description
We start by reviewing, how warped extra dimension model also known as Randall-Sundrum (RS) model provides warped geometric solution to the gauge hierarchy problem and fermion mass hierarchies in the standard model. After briefly introducing different types of RS models, such as custodially protected and the bulk-Higgs RS model, we study flavor-changing neutral-current (FCNC) transitions in these models. We see that the wrong-sign Kaon decay modes, b→ssd ̅ and b→dds ̅, are suitable to explore new-physics signals because of their extremely small branching ratios in the standard model. Exploring the experimentally favored parameter spaces of these models leads to a large and significant enhancement of the decay rates for the considered channels, which might be accessible in future experiments.
