Abstract: The Large Hadron Collider is a top-quark factory, with the top quark being mainly produced by t\bar{t} production process via strong force. Various top quark related physics questions can be probed utilizing this process. After a general introduction of the ongoing t\bar{t}-related top-quark physics analyses at the ATLAS experiment, focus will be given to three scenarios: precision measurement of light- or heavy-flavor QCD radiation accompanying the t\bar{t} production; precision measurement of QED radiation accompanying the t\bar{t} production; and t\bar{t} production as background to other measurements.
About the speaker: Yichen Li is currently a PostDoc of Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY), Germany. He got his Phd diploma from University of Paris XI in 2015. He was involved in the HWW group at ATLAS, contributed to the measurements of Higgs coupling, spin, and width. Now he is leading the measurements of QED/QCD radiation accompanying t\bar{t} pair prodction at ATLAS. He is also the coming ATLAS Data Reprocessing Coordinator and Top Reconstruction Convener.
