To arrive at North China Electric Power University (NCEPU) in Changping Distinct
Arrival shuttle bus will be arranged for transportation from IHEP to NCEPU. You are suggested to take the shuttle bus to the NCEPU.
- pick-up shuttle bus: July 6th afternoon at IHEP Main building
- We planned for 2 departure time at 2:00 pm / 4:30 pm, (please arrange your travel accordingly.)
- We strongly recommend you to take the conference shuttle buses. In case you don’t, subway should be the second choice. There are three subway stations nearby: LongZe station on Line 13, ZhuXinZhuang station on Line 8, and Life Science Park Station on Line Changping. LongZe station is probably the best one, since you can take bus 58 (ErBoZi station) or 80 (to BaiJiaCheng station) from LongZe, and walk for 860 m or 560 m. For the other two, you need walk about 2-2.5 km to the campus which costs about 30 minutes, or take a taxi which cost ~¥13.
- The third choice will be taxi. Please show taxi driver the Chinese notes in attachment #1, AFTER you get in the taxi. There is a government rule that the taxi driver can not reject the service if passenger gets in the car. Rough taxi charge will be:
- from IHEP: ~¥80-120
- from Beijing international airport: ~¥80-120 (show the driver the text in attachment #1)
- from Beijing Daxing international airport: ~¥200-300
To depart from NCEPU:
Departure shuttle buses will be scheduled from NCEPU to IHEP and to airport. The buses will be arranged on July 11th and July 12th. Timetables will be announced later. You may also ask LOC staff to make a reservation.
