General:

  • Magnet: organize a review team to have a review meeting about the text and your designs. 
  • HCAL: The design should be cleaned up, be logic. make clear all the numbers, not just putting tables, the pictures and so on. everything has a good explanation.
  • Cost: Have a dedicated section for cost in each chapter, and later move these to a common chapter.
  • Calibration:
    1. Each sub-system needs a calibration section, explain the design, requirement, precision.
    2. Make sure every sub detector had the calibration section like the one in ECAL chapter.
  • TDR format: unify with accelerator TDR

Chapter 1: part of chapter 2 need to be moved to chapter 1

MDI: structure needs to change, and cut to 30 pages

Silicon: Should less than 50 – 55 pages

TPC:

  • reduce to 35 pages
  • Yifang: cost can be changed, but it needs discussion here

ECAL: less than 50 pages

HCAL: need more details report on the implement in implementation of all the suggestion.

Magnet: less than 40 pages

TDAQ:

Yifang: need to separate the timing precision and the time integration window, these are very two different concepts. You have to make sure you fully have a common understanding

Mechanics: Manpower in Mechanics group need to be fully activated

Performance:

Need to study the particle ID in forward region, consider feasibility of Cherenkov Detector

  • Zhonghua Qin is ideal person for this technology, invite him to Tuesday meeting
  • Xiaolong give us a presentation next time for previous study of particle ID.
