We are delighted to announce the workshop on "Frontiers of ab initio Nuclear Theory", which will be held on Nov 22-Dec 5th, 2026 (Nov 22 Registration) at the Central China Center for Nuclear Theory (C3NT) in Wuhan, China. With an anticipated attendance of approximately 40 participants, this workshop will bring together world-leading theorists, computer scientists, applied mathematicians, and experimentalists to: innovate scalable ab initio many-body methods to reach heavier nuclei and describe nuclear reactions; refine chiral EFT frameworks by confronting their predictions with emerging experimental data; develop more robust methods for estimating theoretical uncertainties that account for correlations among observables; search for new physics via precision studies of nuclear matrix elements, such as 0νββ decay, nuclear electric dipole moments and Schiff moments; establish benchmarks for quantum simulator applications in nuclear structure problems; foster systematic synergies between ab initio theory and high-resolution experimental studies.
Participation is by invitation only. If you are interested in attending, please contact the organizers.
