EPICS Collaboration Meeting Fall 2026

The Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System, better known as EPICS, is an open-source software framework widely used by scientific facilities around the world to build distributed control systems for large-scale experimental instruments. It supports applications in areas such as particle accelerators, telescopes, experimental beamlines, neutron sources, and other complex scientific platforms. The EPICS Collaboration Meetings bring together developers, engineers, users, and project managers from EPICS sites worldwide to exchange ideas, share practical experience, discuss ongoing developments, and coordinate future plans. These meetings also help the community learn from one another, improve existing tools, explore new solutions, and reduce duplicated effort across different facilities.
The Fall 2026 EPICS Collaboration Meeting and related workshops will be held from Sunday, November 1 to Friday, November 6, 2026. Hosted by the Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP) and organized by the China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS), the event will take place in Dongguan, Guangdong, China. Check-in and on-site registration will take place on Sunday, November 1, 2026. The main Collaboration Meeting will be held from Monday to Wednesday, November 2–4, 2026. Training sessions and site visits are planned for Thursday and Friday, November 5–6, 2026.
