Description
We investigated the in-medium spin transport of bottomonium based on open quantum system approach with potential NRQCD interaction. We derived a Boltzmann equation describing the evolution of spin degrees of freedom and calculated the spin observables. We observe that the spin polarization of heavy quarkonium comes from its relative motion to the medium and the EE, EB, BB correlators coming from spin-magnetic and spin-orbital coupling are important on the same footing. It is also found the spin relaxation rate is much smaller than the number density relaxation rate and descends as mass increases.
