The 3rd Workshop on Muon Science Technology and Industry (MELODY2026)

    中国散裂中子源缪子源实验站第三届缪子应用研讨会（The 3rd Workshop on Muon Science Technology and Industry，MELODY2026）将于2026年10月23日至10月26日在广东省东莞市召开。缪子源装置是中国散裂中子源二期工程中的重要组成部分。作为国内首个缪子源，装置的建设对国内缪子相关领域的研究具有重要意义。本次研讨会将围绕缪子束流装置运行及其新技术发展、缪子自旋旋转/弛豫/共振（muSR）谱学技术与应用、负缪子束元素分析等专题进行汇报和深入交流，并为中国散裂中子源的缪子源设计、建设、运行提供指导和建议。 

    诚挚邀请各位同仁踊跃参会，交流最新研究成果。

（二）会议地点：广东省东莞市（场地待定）。

（一）报到时间：2026年10月23日。
（二）费用：会议不收取注册费，食宿统一安排，费用自理。


The 3rd Workshop on Muon Science TechnoLogy and Industry (MELODY2026) will be held in Dongguan, Guangdong, China, from October 23 to 26, 2026.
The workshop sessions will take place from October 24 to 26, 2026, and registration will be on October 23, 2026.

This workshop will focus on muon technology development, muSR applications, negative muon applications, and other relevant topics related to the muon station of CSNS, named MELODY (Muon station for sciEnce, technoLOgy, and inDustrY). The construction of MELODY officially started in January 2024, and the project is expected to be completed by October 2029.

The workshop is organized by the Spallation Neutron Source Science Center and the Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Registration Fee: Free of charge
Accommodation and Meals: Arranged by the organizers. The organizers will cover the accommodation and meal expenses for invited guests. All other participants are responsible for their own expenses.
