Guangxi Normal University, Guilin, China

November 20-25, 2017

The 7th East Asia AMS Symposium

3rd announcement

The Seventh East Asia Accelerator Mass Spectrometry symposium (EA-AMS-7) will be held in Guangxi Normal University, Guilin, China, from November 20th to 25th 2017, the Eleventh Anniversary of the first Symposium. Since the first Conference occurred at Tsukuba in 2006, there have now been six further symposiums on the development and applications of AMS in various fields include new facilities, future Ion sources, advances in AMS techniques, reference material, preparation and analysis of small samples, cosmogony isotopes, etc. Now, it is our pleasure to invite all colleagues working on AMS related fields to EA-AMS-7. All subjects on AMS and its applications are welcome to be presented in the symposium. We hope all of you come and enjoy the symposium with exciting lectures and the stunning landscape in Guilin.

'East or west, Guilin landscape is best!' Located in the northeast of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in south China, Guilin is considered to be the pearl of China's natural beauty and historic treasures. The stunning landscape in which the city is situated has a kind of magic that is all its own. The strangely shaped hills or karsts, with the verdant vegetation ranging from bamboos to conifers together with crystal clear waters and wonderful caves make the city such an appealing destination.

The team at the Guilin AMS Laboratory is excited to welcome you all to Guilin. Book your travel early and bring the whole family!

We look forward to seeing you in Guilin.

  Yours Sincerely,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of EA-AMS-7
