Description

Periods of extended maintenance or failure often lead to systems being returned to Operations not behaving as they had. The changes can be subtle, but the consequences can be large. The Collider-Accelerator Department at Brookhaven National Laboratory has developed various tools to help identify unexpected changes in settings and in device behaviour. This poster outlines the different tools, their utility, and how they fit into everyday operations for RHIC and all the other programmes being run by the Collider-Accelerator Department.
