Summary
Lambda polarization was measured by the STAR collaboration, confirming the existence of extremely large vorticities within the Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP).
In this talk, I will discuss the vorticity field and Lambda spin polarization in heavy ion collisions. Particularly, the effect of feed down on local Lambda hyperon polarization will be discussed.
