Description

HICs at HIRFL-CSR energies can create nuclear matter with 2-3 times of the saturation density. The CSR External-target Experiment (CEE) at HIRFL facility is a larger acceptance spectrometer to explore frontier physics topics including QCD phase structure, Equation of State (EoS) and hypernuclei production at large baryon density region. In this presentation, physics goals, design and optimization, sub-system development, software development progress and future plan of the CEE experiment, will be discussed.
