Speaker: Thomas Schaefer (NCSU)
Time: Feb. 23 (Tuesday) 6:00am (San Fransisco), 9:00am (New York), 3:00pm (Frankfurt), 7:30pm(New Delhi), 10:00pm (Beijing), 11:00pm (Tokyo)
Abstract: I will explain the need for dynamical modeling of critical fluctuations in heavy ion collisions, and discuss a number of methods for doing so that have been studied in the literature. I will also discuss recent work on the critical bulk viscosity, the role of multiplicative noise, and the time evolution of two-point functions.
