Description
The BESIII experiment has been operatingsince 2009 and received several upgrades, to study the tau-charm physics utilizing the BEPCII accelerator. The BEPCII colllider is a double-ring multi-bunch collider. The rich physics topics, long life time and the large amount of data present challenges to offline data processing. This talk describes the design strategy and implementation of offline software system to meet the requirements and challenges of BESIII data processing, including offline software architecture, geometry management, database management, event data model, and tag-based analysis.
