Visa Policy for Hong Kong, SAR, China
Hong Kong maintains a liberal visa policy, permitting nationals from approximately 170 countries and territories to enter visa-free for periods ranging from 7 to 180 days.
However, specific entry requirements depend on the traveler's passport.
Do You Need a Visa?
To determine your eligibility for visa-free entry, consult the official Hong Kong Immigration Department's "Visit Visa / Entry Permit Requirements" page.
If your country is not listed among those eligible for visa-free entry, you must apply for a visa before traveling to Hong Kong.
Invitation Letters for Visa Applications
Should you require a visa, obtaining an official invitation letter can support your application. To request such a letter, please contact the LOC (lidine2025@ihep.ac.cn).
While the LOC can assist by providing necessary documentation like invitation letters, they do not have the authority to influence immigration decisions.
