无中微子双贝塔衰变是目前粒子物理与核物理研究领域的科学前沿，是可能突破粒子物理标准模型的重要研究方向之一 。如果实验上观测到无中微子双贝塔衰变，将提供违反轻子数的直接证据，同时表明中微子是马约拉纳粒子，有助于理解宇宙中正反物质不对称之谜。

其中，NME是连接半衰期与中微子质量的关键“桥梁” ，其数值大小直接决定衰变的快慢，并影响提取中微子质量的精度。然而，不同核理论模型对NME的预测相差三倍甚至更多，对设计以及解释无中微子双贝塔衰变实验带来很大的不确定性。因此，降低候选原子核衰变NME的不确定性是亟需解决的关键科学问题之一。
