Description
This short talk introduces go-epics, a Go package that bridges the native EPICS Channel Access (CA) and PVAccess (PVA) C/C++ libraries through cgo. By providing high-level, idiomatic Go APIs while preserving the capabilities of the native libraries, go-epics simplifies the development and deployment of portable, cross-platform applications. It also establishes a foundation for future integration with agentic AI workflows.
