Description
The high-current multi-pulse linear induction accelerator operates in the burst mode. During a single operation, the control system must execute output control for multiple power supply groups, coordinate subsystem scheduling, manage timing triggers, implement fast protection, and monitor the entire process with software braking. Designed with a three-layer standard model architecture based on EPICS, the control system develops prototype power supply group controls, an integrated master control platform, and timing trigger and fast protection system for critical burst-mode operations. This paper details the operational workflow, overall architecture, hardware and software platform design, and key subsystem development of high-current LIA control systems, concluding with future research directions.
