Description
Femtosecond synchronization is essential for the coordinated operation of high-repetition-rate free-electron lasers and ultrafast experiments. To meet the synchronization requirements of the S³FEL project, we have designed and developed all synchronization control hardware in-house, enabling customization for different synchronization tasks and supporting long-term maintenance and upgrades. This talk will briefly introduce the motivation for in-house development, present the developed hardware, and summarize recent synchronization test results. An RMS timing jitter of 10 fs, integrated from 10 Hz to 10 MHz, has been achieved using the in-house hardware.
