Description
Shanghai Advanced Research Institute (SARI), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) focuses on the development, construction, and operation of large advanced light source facilities, including the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility (SSRF), Shanghai soft X-ray Free Electron Laser facility (SXFEL), and Shanghai HIgh repetition rate XFEL aNd Extreme light facility (SHINE). Extremely stringent requirements are imposed by these facilities on beam instrumentation, control and timing. The complete technical chain covering EPICS-based control system, high-precision timing distribution, beam instrumentation, high-speed signal acquisition and processing electronics have been established. The core technical achievements, system architecture, and key performance indicators will be summarized in this report.
