Description
This presentation presents a full suite of self‑developed accelerator upper‑level application software for the SHINE facility. To address the limitations of conventional tools including discontinued maintenance, unsatisfactory runtime efficiency and poor cross‑platform adaptability of EDM, CSS and Phoebus, customized OPI development is carried out based on PyDM. Special widgets featuring security verification and password access control are supplemented to form a SHINE‑exclusive PyDM release, whose source code has been contributed to the EPICS open‑source community.
To tackle the defects of the native Archiver web‑based tool, such as the restriction on axis quantity and loss of extreme‑value samples, an in‑house archiving query and analysis software is implemented with the PyQt framework. It enables fuzzy PV search, multi‑Y‑axis and multi‑curve comparison, and multiple plotting strategies, realizing seamless integration between real‑time operator interfaces and historical data query.
To resolve the information overload issue of existing alarm tools, a comprehensive alarm software is developed by integrating signals from Phoebus/Alarms, MPS and device IOCs. It filters faults according to machine operation modes, performs physical‑region localization, refines alarm messages and supports one‑click interface navigation for rapid fault diagnosis. Meanwhile, the SHINE waveform storage system is constructed with unified HDF5 storage specifications and optimized read‑write performance. Precise alignment of multi‑BPM data is achieved via bunchID, and downloads of both raw and aligned datasets are supported. Covering status monitoring, historical data analysis, fault alarming and waveform streaming‑data storage, this software suite provides comprehensive software support for SHINE facility operation and physics commissioning.
