Description
The High Energy Photon Source (HEPS) is a 6-GeV fourth-generation synchrotron light source developed by the Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP), Chinese Academy of Sciences. It employs a novel on-axis swap-out injection scheme. The timing system is a key subsystem that supplies triggers and clocks to both the accelerators and the beamlines and coordinates the entire facility operation, including the injection scheme. The timing software is based on EPICS. This talk will describe the timing logic and architecture, together with the EPICS-based software.
