Description
Femtoscopy has long been a powerful tool in imaging particle emission source in high energy collisions. In 3D femto, source sizes are extracted in 3 directions: out, side, and long according to particle pair momentum. Event plane dependent femto, or azimuthal femto further cut correlation function into slices based on pair angle wrt event plane, making it possible to extract final eccentricity from results. Through this technique, more study on source are becoming possible with higher precision and amount of data accumulated. In this review, introduction on azimuthal femtoscopy, as well as some results achieved by this method would be presented.
