Description
We present SWDSIM, a fast-simulation approach for modelling detector-resolution effects using the Sliced Wasserstein Distance (SWD). The method learns the mapping from generator-level to fully simulated kinematics using existing simulated samples and can be transferred to other decay channels with same final-state. We will introduce the method and its implementation, present validation studies with LHCb Run2 samples, and discuss its potential application to partially reconstructed backgrounds and LHCb Run3 analyses where dedicated full-simulation samples are limited.
