Introductory lectures will be given during 24-25 July, i.e. before the start of the workshop, targeting PhD students and other young researchers who consider getting involved in JLab/EIC physics or similar initiatives.
The topics include:
- Introduction to Standard Model Test with Electron Scattering.
- Introduction to Hadron Structure Study with Electron Scattering (Form factors, Resonances, DIS, Spin, QCD, ChPT, LQCD etc).
- EIC Physics (Nucleon Structure and Quark-Gluon Structure of Nuclei).
- Experimental Aspects (Introduction to Detectors, DAQs and Simulations).
