Summary
Quarkonium is one of the golden probes of the properties of the quark-gluon plasma (QGP) created in relativistic heavy-ion collisions. Its production in heavy-ion collisions is modified in the hot, dense medium by the color-screening effect and/or quark coalescence, which are signature of deconfinement.
In this talk, I will review the recent progress of the quarkonium measurements in heavy-ion collisions from the RHIC-STAR Collaboration. The results from p+p collisions will also be discussed to better understand the suppression observed in heavy-ion collisions.
