This topical workshop will cover a broad range of concepts and technologies for both electromagnetic and hadronical calorimeter systems for the CEPC, including
- Crystal calorimetry
- Dual-readout calorimetry
- PFA-oriented calorimetry
One of the initiatives is to trigger in-depth discussions on the exploration of technical solutions to achieve optimal detector performance and to address main challenges in the CEPC environment. In addition, possibilities for future dedicated calorimetry R&D programs will also be discussed, which would provide essential inputs for the preparation of the CEPC TDR.
