The 12th Huada School on QCD will be held in Central China Normal University (CCNU), Wuhan, China, Oct 27 -- Nov 02, 2024.
The Huada QCD Schools are lecture series at the Institute of Particle Physics (IOPP), CCNU. It aims to provide pedagogical lectures on the physics of strong interactions for graduate students, postdocs and young researchers. The scientific topic for this year is ``theoretical tools for the electron-ion collider physics''.
Confirmed spearkers:
Dr. Kyle Lee (MIT) on Effective Theories and Jet Physics,
Dr. Farid Salazar (INT, Seattle) on Small-x Physics.
There is no registration fee for attending the school, and meals will be provided by the organizers. The participants are responsible for the expenses of their travel and local accommodation. The accommodation may be arranged by the local organizers (please make choice for your accommodation during the registration). International participants may apply for local financial support.
The total number of participants for the school is limited up to 60. Please apply as soon as possible. It is recommended that the participants should have taken or are taking the quantum field theory course or introductory courses to high-energy nuclear physics or particle physics.
