Xiaojie, Zhan, Yiming et al working with Haoyu on background estimation. Attention should be paid to an extremely bright spot at radius of second barrel layer (see attached endcap plot). It could be due to Touschek effect. Working closely with Haoyu:

- to check the latest samples

- to check if shielding with tungsten could mitigate the effect
