Strangeness Nuclear Physics 2014

Asia/Shanghai
Description
During the last twenty years, many epoch-making data on nuclear physics with strangeness have been accumulated, which provide vital information on our understanding of strangeness nuclear physics. New and more precise data at new or updated facilities, such as DAFNE, FAIR, JLab, J-PARC, and MAMI, are expected within the next few years. On the theoretical side, ab-initio baryon-baryon forces are emerging from both ChPT and LQCD. In anticipating of rapid experimental and theoretical progress on strangeness nuclear physics, we are glad to announce that the 2014 International Symposium on Strangeness Nuclear Physics will be held at Changsha, China on December 12nd -14th. The last symposium of this series was held at Xiamen University (http://phys.xmu.edu.cn/snp2013/). The following topics will be covered:  Baryon-Baryon interactions
 Production, structure and decay of S=-1 and S=-2 hypernuclei
  Hadron systems with strangeness
 Kaon nuclear and atomic systems  Baryon/quark matter with strangeness
 Experimental projects and facilities This workshop is co-sponsored by National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics, and Hunan Normal University.
