粒子与天体物理学多前沿奇异现象研讨会 (MEPA 2024) 将于8月24日至28日在云南举办。本届会议由北京大学高能物理研究中心和云南大学物理与天文学院联合主办。研讨会将采取现场和ZOOM在线同时举行，还将提供海报展示的机会，欢迎大家提交口头报告和海报摘要、并积极参会。
本次研讨会将重点关注轴子、暗光子、分数带电粒子、磁单极子等处于新物理学前沿的奇异粒子领域的最新理论成果和专题讨论。还将涵盖前沿实验进展和技术讨论的全面概述。目的是促进粒子天体物理学、宇宙学以及标准模型之外的候选暗物质研究等跨学科领域的研究和学术交流。

Workshop on Multi-front Exotic phenomena in Particle and Astrophysics (MEPA 2024) will be hosted by Center for High Energy Physics at Peking University and School of Physics and Astronomy at Yunnan University, in Yunnan, China on August 24-28. The workshop will be held on-site and online via ZOOM at the same time. and provide poster presentations. Abstracts for oral talks and poster presentations are highly welcome. You are welcome to register and participate the meeting.
This workshop will focus on the latest theoretical achievements and specialized discussions in the fields of axions, dark photons, fractionally charged particles, magnetic monopoles, and other exotic particles, which are at the forefront of new physics. It will also encompass comprehensive overviews of cutting-edge experimental progress and technical discussions. The aim is to promote research and academic exchanges in interdisciplinary areas such as particle astrophysics, cosmology, and the study of dark matter candidates beyond the standard model.
