Student Poster Award
Special Poster Session for Students
A special poster session for students will take place on Sunday, 16 September 2018, 4:00pm – 6:00pm in the main floor of Beijing Friendship Hotel. The student category applies to students registered for a Ph.D. or degree in accelerator physics or engineering.
All students are welcome to present their work and compete for the ¥6000 RMB First place and ¥3000RMB Second and Third place cash prizes which will be awarded for the best three posters presented during the session, as decided by a group of judges from the conference Organizing and Scientific Program Committees. These prizes will be awarded to the winners during the dedicated plenary session on Thursday, 20 September, 12:00-12:30pm. The First place prize winner will be called to give a twenty minute oral presentation of the posters’ work on Thursday, September, 12:10-12:30pm.
Prizes will be awarded based on:
– The quality of both the scientific work and the poster
– The professionalism of the interaction with the judges at the poster
– The promise for the future
First Prize
The winner will receive a cash prize of ¥6000 RMB and will be called to give a twenty minute oral presentation of the poster work on Thursday, 20 September, 12:10 -12:30pm.
Second and Third Prizes
Each winner will receive a cash prize of ¥3000 RMB.
Posters should be mounted between 3:00pm – 4:00pm on Sunday, 16 September 2018, and manned from 4:00pm - 6:00pm. Posters can remain in place until following the Welcome Reception ending at 8:00pm.
